I’m a coach, not a web developer. I’ll happily talk power curves and pacing strategy all day, but ask me about websites and you’ll get a shrug. The old setup reflected that, and it wasn’t doing my athletes or anyone thinking about coaching any favours.

So this is a short post to say: there’s a new site, it works, and here’s what’s on it.

What you’ll find here

Everything people actually ask me for is now in one place. The coaching plans are laid out with straight pricing. The articles section has the training advice I find myself repeating in athlete calls, written down properly so you can read it instead of taking notes while I rant. And then there’s the calculator.

The Climb Calculator

The Climb Calculator started as something I used with my own athletes. Give it a climb and your numbers, and it tells you what that effort really costs and how to pace it. No magic, just the maths I was doing by hand before races. It’s free, it works on your phone halfway up the thing if you really want, and you don’t need to be coached by me to use it.

It’s become a bit of a calling card, which I didn’t expect. Riders find the calculator first and the coaching second. That wasn’t the plan, but I’ll take it.

Who built it

Henry Goff Studio built the site and turned the calculator from an idea in my head into something that actually works. Henry spotted that the calculator was the thing worth leading with, which is the kind of call I’d have missed completely. If you need a site built properly, he’s your man.
